Some Often Asked Questions:

  1. Will you return my photographs?
    Absolutely. That’s why we ask you to clearly identify your name on the back of each picture.

     

  2. What size and kinds of pictures can I use for my calendar?
    Any color or black & white size picture can be used.

     

  3. Can I send you negatives or slides?
    Sorry, we can work with prints only.

     

  4. Can I use more than one picture per month?
    Yes - But keep in mind that one horizontal picture or two vertical pictures (of similar size) work best. etc.

    However, you can use more than two pictures per page if you’d like. When using more than two pictures per month, please align and mount the pictures on a plain, unlined piece of white paper exactly as you want them to appear.

     

  5. Can you ship my calendars?
    Yes. A $5.00 charge covers shipping and handling for up to 4 calendars. Add an additional $5.00 if you are ordering 5-8 calendars, etc.

     

  6. How soon will I receive my calendar?
    In the "non-Christmas" season, it usually takes one or two days to receive your calendar. But in October, November and December it may take 2-4 days - so order as soon as possible.

     

  7. Do I have to start with January?
    NO! Creative Calendars make great birthday, anniversary and wedding gifts -- and you can start your 12 month calendar with any month you choose.

 

CUSTOMIZING

We can personalize your calendar with words or art for an additional graphic charge or we can tell you how to achieve this on your own computer. We can also replace the calendar cover with photos for a nominal fee.

Important helpful hints:

  1. The quality of your photos determine the quality of your calendar. Standard glossy color or black & white photographs reproduce best.

     

  2. Vertical pictures -- include 2 per month (same size). Horizontal -- include one per month.

     

  3. Clearly identify on the back of each photo the specific month and your last name. Post-it Notes work well. Writing on the back of a photo can damage your photo.

     

  4. Proportion of your original photo can affect the spacing on the page. For instance: a square Polaroid or 3½" x 3½" photo will leave approx. 1" of white space on sides. Rectangular photos fill up entire page.

     

  5. No negatives or slides please.

     

  6. Have some fun with your calendar. Look for photos that are funny, interesting and memorable!

     

  7. Try a collage, or using craft scissors for a creative effect.
